Why WhatsApp chats are good material for analysis
WhatsApp keeps a timestamp on every message and labels every sender, which is exactly what a chat analysis needs. From a plain export you can work out who writes more, who answers faster, and how the pace of the conversation changes from week to week.
Crush Analyzer accepts the standard WhatsApp export, either as a text file or as the .zip that WhatsApp creates. You do not need to edit anything first.
How to export a WhatsApp chat on iPhone
Open the chat with your crush and tap their name at the top. Scroll down and choose Export Chat. When asked, choose Without Media, then save the file to Files or send it to yourself by email so you can reach it from your computer or phone.
Menu names can differ slightly between WhatsApp versions, so if you do not see exactly this wording, look for the Export Chat option in the chat info screen.
How to export a WhatsApp chat on Android
Open the chat, tap the three dots in the top corner, choose More, then Export chat, and pick Without media. Save the file or send it to yourself.
WhatsApp may give you a .zip file containing the chat text. That is fine: upload the .zip as it is.

Tips for a better result
Use a one-to-one chat, not a group, since the analysis compares two people.
Longer conversations show clearer patterns. If your chat is only a few days old, the result will be thin, and it is wise to treat it that way.
A note on privacy and honesty
A chat export contains personal messages, so only upload conversations you are comfortable sharing, and read our privacy policy to see how uploads are handled.
The output is an AI read for fun and reflection. It describes what is in your chat and makes no promise about what your crush feels.
Crush Analyzer gives an AI read of your chat, made for fun and reflection. It is not a guarantee of how anyone feels, and it cannot read minds. Use it as one more point of view, not as a verdict. See also our Privacy Policy.
