How the test works

1. Paste or drop your chat

WhatsApp .txt/.zip, Instagram or Messenger JSON, Telegram result.json, or plain pasted lines. 1:1 chats only.

2. Five signals, two people

Each signal gives a share of the effort; they are weighted into one balance. No timestamps? Starts and reply time are skipped.

3. Read the balance

50 / 50 is even. See who leads each row and three tips. Everything is counted in your browser.

Crush Analyzer gives an AI read of your chat, made for fun and reflection. It is not a guarantee of how anyone feels, and it cannot read minds. Use it as one more point of view, not as a verdict. See also our Privacy Policy.

Questions

How can I tell who likes who more over text?+

Look at effort patterns over many messages, not single texts: who starts conversations, who replies faster, who asks questions and who sends follow-ups. This free test turns those five signals into an Interest Balance from 0 to 100, where 50 is even. It shows texting effort, not feelings.

Does the person who texts first like the other person more?+

Often they are putting in more effort, but not always. Some people simply text first by habit, have more free time or prefer messaging. A who-texts-first count is most useful together with reply speed and questions, and over weeks rather than days.

How is the Interest Balance calculated?+

Each signal gives person A's share of the combined effort. They are weighted: conversation starts 30% (first message of the chat or after a 6 hour gap), median reply time 25% (replies under 24 hours, faster counts as more invested), share of messages 15%, questions asked 15%, double texts 15%. Without timestamps the starts and reply signals are skipped and the weights are rescaled. 45 to 55 is shown as pretty even.

Does it work for group chats?+

No. It compares exactly two people, so it works on 1:1 chats only. If the file has more than two senders the tool says so and shows no result.

Is my chat private?+

Yes. The test runs entirely in your browser: your chat is counted on this page and never uploaded, saved or sent to any server.
